Hey Everyone!
I’m out today helping my husband market his business online, learning all about Google Places. I’m working as a teacher in an after school program for my friend’s Bricks for Kids business. I’m also working on finishing my new free eBook called “How to Get Noticed Online: Tips for Novice Mom Business and Blog Owners.” And, if that is not enough, I am getting an outline down for a book I want to write about Pinterest.
I love being busy but it is not just busy but productive. What good is getting tired and racking our brains if nothing good comes of all your work?
Good old fashion hard work and know how.
I have read many, many books and blogs about business, marketing and how to make a living online. But honestly, the one place that has helped me to put all that knowledge into action and encourage me to be a better person thus a better business woman is TED.
TED is a huge compilation of speakers. But not just speakers. Some of the worlds best minds, most influential people and down right awesome story tellers.
I have watched and learned from a woman who gave her story about escaping North Korea (I cried for her). She made me think of how good I have it everyday to live in a country where I can be who I am and not worry about living a good life.
I learned about how to create a good habit by trying something new for 30 days. I have tried a few things and some stuck and, yes, I feel better about myself.
And how about how to be successful? Of course, there is a talk there too. Watch 8 Secrets to Success in about 3 minutes.
And when you reach success you just can’t stop.
I watch TED videos every week. Many times I share them on my Twitter feed or on my Facebook Page. But I think you should go directly there and see for yourself how good it feels to get inspiration in less than 20 minutes.
